The Aixun H414D is a dual channel hot air rework station: one control unit drives two identical handpieces with independent temperature and airflow, so two operators can share it or one can keep two nozzle and temperature setups ready without waiting for a heater to cool. The box holds the control unit, both handpieces, a cast aluminium cradle with height adjustable holders, eight nozzles, a nozzle rack, a mains lead and an ESD lead.

The handpieces are short and comfortable, with spring retained nozzles and a 1400 W heater that can be exchanged for a 1600 W part. Each has a six axis gyroscope that triggers standby when laid flat, buttons that step temperature, airflow and presets or hold for cool air, a colour ring showing standby, heating and cooling, and a vibration motor that signals when the set temperature is reached. The silicone hose unplugs at the station but is a little under a metre long.

Inside, an EI core transformer feeds a symmetrical pair of blowers and motor controllers, BTA41-600B triacs gate the transformer and both heaters through opto couplers, and the front panel carries an ARM microcontroller, OP07 op amps for the thermocouples and a dual band Wi-Fi module for over the air updates. The IEC earth bonds to the chassis through bare metal strips; the 15 A glass fuse and the capped handpiece connectors marked as a high voltage hazard are the two reservations. The 3.5 inch IPS display splits into two channels with presets, a power bar and five step segment or curve profiles for BGA work. Both channels together approach 3 kW, a thermocouple read 300C at a 300C setpoint, and parts lifted cleanly from a ten layer HDI board, including with both handpieces heating from opposite sides.
