The 1SCN dual channel station promises something genuinely appealing: 160W of combined power driving both a JBC C210 handpiece and a C115 nano handpiece from one box, with an I2C style interface and a price well below the branded equivalents. On the outside it makes a decent first impression. The C210 handpiece feels reasonable in the hand, the C115 nano is impressively small for fine SMD and micro rework, and the supplied cradle does its job.

The problems begin once the case comes off. The internal construction is where this unit falls apart, with assembly and layout choices that undermine any confidence in long term reliability and, more importantly, in mains isolation and general electrical safety. That matters more here than in most reviews, because a soldering iron tip sits in direct contact with the boards you are working on; a station with questionable isolation puts both the operator and sensitive assemblies at risk. The teardown section is the heart of this review and the reason the conclusion is as blunt as it is.

Power up and actual soldering do show that the hardware can heat tips and hold temperature well enough to work with, which makes the internal shortcomings all the more frustrating. Buyers tempted by the dual channel convenience are better served putting the money towards a known quantity such as an Aixun T3A or T3B, or a genuine JBC setup if the budget stretches, rather than gambling on a station whose insides do not match its specification sheet. Useful viewing if you want to understand exactly what to inspect before trusting a cheap C210 or C115 compatible station on your bench.
