That flexibility is the main argument for buying it over a single tool station: one power supply and one interface can cover a fine pitch micro iron and a heavy chisel tip iron for ground planes and connectors, with the station tracking each tool’s sleep and hibernation state independently through the stands.

This review goes further than a surface unboxing. The control unit is opened so that the transformer, drive electronics and construction quality can be judged against the price, which matters because JBC equipment costs several times what a clone T12 or entry level station does.
